Q How do I order?
A

Local, North American or International customers are welcome to browse and shop at Wattronix Inc. Use the facilities of our on-line internet store or call us during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9AM - 5PM, Eastern Standard Time) or fax us. You may also mail us your letters or questions or orders.

Q What methods of payment do you accept?
A

PayPal (an eBay Company) enables you to use your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover credit cards on our E-Commerce web site and is the preferred method of payment (For more information please read our Privacy & Security statement). A cheque or money order is also acceptable. If you are paying by personal cheque, we may hold your order until the cheque is honoured. A certified cheque or money order will ensure immediate shipment. We are unable to ship goods C.O.D.

Q What are your hours of operation?
A

Our Order Desk is open to take phone orders or handle other inquiries between 9AM - 5PM Eastern Standard Time from Monday through Friday. Also our Fax is available round the clock.

Q When will my order be shipped?
A

Orders are shipped within 2 working days for all in-stock goods. We will advise you immediately if your shipment will be delayed.

Q What do you charge for shipping?
A

Wattronix ships most orders by Canada Post's 'Xpresspost' service to destinations within Canada and the USA.
 
For 'Xpresspost' service anywhere in Canada and the USA:

Shipping on orders of $100 CAD or more is free for most items. For orders up to $9.99 CAD, shipping charge is $5 CAD. For orders from $10.00 to $49.99 CAD, shipping charge is $4 CAD. For orders from $50.00 to $99.99 CAD, shipping charge is $3 CAD. See exceptions below.
 
For any order containing Sand or Calcium Reactor Media, actual shipping charges will be charged to you after the order has been placed. We will contact you by e-mail (once the final "as packed" shipping weight & dimensions are known) to forward additional payment (PayPal, cheque or money order).

Shipping charges are refundable upon pickup if order is picked up at the Wattronix office.
 
We do not ship aquariums, aquarium systems or orders containing aquariums. Contact us by phone or fax or e-mail to arrange for pickup at the Wattronix office.

The delivery standard for Xpresspost service is between 2 to 5 business days between all major centers.
 
To avoid you the very expensive brokerage fees ($25.00 CAD or more) charged to you by courier services such as UPS/DHL/FedEx, we normally use Canada Post non-courier services. If you nonetheless prefer to use a courier for your order shipment please click here.
 
For Postal Service outside Canada and the USA:

Shipping shall be charged at actual "Insured Canada Post International Surface Parcel Rates" by Canada Post. We will contact you by e-mail (once the final "as packed" shipping weight & dimensions are known) to forward additional payment (PayPal, cheque or money order). Q Can I ship my order by courier?
A Yes. Wattronix normally ships orders by Canada Post Services. If you nonetheless prefer to use a courier for your order shipment please specify the courier name and the type of courier service required.
 
We will contact you by email (once final "as packed" shipping weight, dimensions & courier chargers are known) to forward additional payment (PayPal, cheque, money order).

Q What if I want to return an item within 30 days of delivery to you?
A

Should you find it necessary to return an item, please phone or fax or email us first. Please supply us with your name, mailing address, email address, order number, date of order, product name, quantity to be returned and the reason for the return request. We will supply you a Return Material Authorization (RMA) code that must accompany and identify all returning material. Goods returned to Wattronix Inc. without an RMA code may be rejected or not processed for credit. You may return an item providing you include the RMA code, all original display packaging, plus all manuals, instructions, warranty registration cards and parts, the item is in new condition, has not been used (except if the item has a manufacturer's defect) and the item is returned within 30 days of delivery to you. To receive a refund or replacement or credit, all returns should be shipped pre-paid (no C.O.D.s) to us, properly packaged to avoid damage. Keep a photocopy of the transaction paperwork for your records.

Shipping fees are not refundable, unless, of course, you are returning defective merchandise or merchandise we sent in error.

Q Can I refuse your shipment?
 

Yes. If you refuse to accept your order, your order will be subject to a $5.00 CAD handling fee & all shipping charges each way.
 
We will refund the balance of your payment upon return of your order.

Q Can I cancel my order?
A

Yes. If you cancel your order before we ship, your order is subject to a $5.00 CAD handling fee. We will refund the balance of your payment.
 
If you cancel your order after we ship your order will be subject to a $5.00 CAD handling fee & actual shipping charges.

We will refund the balance of your payment upon order return. Please return your un-opened order pre-paid for shipping ( no C.O.D.s ).

Q What do I do if a product breaks or doesn't perform as promised 30 or more days after it is delivered to you?
A

In the event an item becomes defective or just doesn't live up to your expectations, please refer to the warranty information you received with your product for proper handling/claim procedures.

Q What currency are your prices in?
A

All our prices are quoted in Canadian (CAD$) dollars. Cheques, money orders or Paypal payments you send to us should be in Canadian (CAD) dollars. For your reference only, the Canadian dollar has been trading over the last few years at about $0.65 - $0.75 USF. Rates vary daily.

Q Can I order a product that is not listed in your catalogue?
A

If there is something you want and you do not see listed in our product range, please call or e-mail us with your needs. We may be able to make a custom product to meet your requirements.

Q Are your prices fixed?
A

Yes. We try to keep price changes to a minimum, however we will adjust our prices as costs and market forces dictate from time to time. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.

Q What happens if I order something and it is not in stock?
A

While we try our best to stock all items, we may find ourselves out of stock on some items. We reserve the right to either partial ship in-stock items with a follow-up order for any delayed item shipped to you without additional shipping cost. We also reserve the right, at our option, to hold the total order for a short while while we restock the delayed item and then ship the complete order to you in one shipment.
